These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SewNQuilt: Sewing & Quilting app (the "App") and the website sewnquilt.com (the "Site"), together the "Services", provided by SewNQuilt ("we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Your account

You may use parts of the App as a guest or create an account. Keep your sign in details safe and tell us at sewnquilt@orlero.com if you think someone else has access. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Services.

2. SewNQuilt Pro subscriptions

The App is free to download. Using SewNQuilt requires SewNQuilt Pro, an auto renewing subscription:

Prices are shown in US dollars. The App Store or Google Play shows the price in your local currency, including any applicable taxes, before you confirm.

• Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your store settings. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play, your profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Price changes. If a price changes, we and the store will tell you in advance as the store's rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
• Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled under their policies. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: through Google Play order history. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or withdrawal rights you have under the law of your country.
• Deleting the App or your account does not cancel a subscription. Please cancel it in your store settings.

3. Your content

You own the projects, photos, notes and other content you add ("Your Content"). You give us a limited licence to store, process and display Your Content only to provide the Services to you, including sync and the features you choose, such as Ask Pip and Fit & Fix. If you choose to share something publicly, you give us the licence needed to show it where you shared it. Only add content you have the right to use, including PDF patterns you have purchased or that are free to use.

4. Calculators, guides and AI helpers

Our calculators, charts and guides follow published standards and industry references and give results in imperial and metric. Ask Pip and Fit & Fix use AI together with our calculators. Making is hands on, so please check measurements on your own fabric and pattern before cutting, and follow the safety instructions for your tools and machine. Baby quilts shown in SewNQuilt are for play, tummy time and decoration.

5. Acceptable use

Please be kind and lawful. Do not misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, try to access them other than through our interfaces, upload unlawful or infringing content, or copy and resell our content, data or calculators.

6. Our content

The Services, including the SewNQuilt name, the sewn wordmark, Pip and the Thimble Hollow crew, illustrations, guides and software, belong to SewNQuilt or our licensors. Photos are used under the Pexels License and credited on our photo credits page. We give you a personal, non transferable licence to use the Services for your own making.

7. Changes to the Services and Terms

We improve SewNQuilt all the time and may add, change or retire features. We may update these Terms; we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in the App about material changes.

8. Ending use

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, the Services are provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for fabric, materials or time spent on a project. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

10. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded the App from the App Store, these Terms are between you and SewNQuilt, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims about the App, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them. Your use of the App must also comply with the App Store usage rules, including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the place where SewNQuilt is established, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
